Ashley and Will hit the jackpot when they woke up on the morning of August 10th, 2013. This was probably one of the nicest days for a wedding I’ve seen since the beginning of May. It was great capturing their wedding photos at Glen Sanders Mansion so lets get into this blog…

As I mentioned above we had an incredible day out there last Saturday. When we arrived at Glen Sanders Mansion the ladies were getting ready in a different room than the normal bridal suite. I loved this room with all the stripes (as you’ll see below). This was another back to back wedding with my homie Tina of Flawless by Tina! April of A & Co Salon was in the house as well. Then the amazing bouquets arrived compliments of Fleurtacious Designs. We then headed outside for some bridal portraits of Miss Ashley before heading to the stockade for the first look and group shots.
Their ceremony took place at the First Reformed Church in Schenectady. What a fantastic church both inside and out. We shot a wedding here years ago and fell in love with it then. It was great to be back. After the ceremony, Ashley and Will had a group shot list that was huge! We knocked out 76 (or more) different group shot combinations in under 30 minutes! I don’t think we’ve ever taken so many combinations of family photos at a wedding.
After that it was time to party and boy did they! The ballroom was decorated beautifully by Fleurtacious Designs and uplight by Conway Entertainment who also was Ashley and Wills emcee and DJ for the evening. The entertainment didn’t stop there either, the New York Players were in the house and they absolutely tore the roof off the mansion and left it floating in the Mohawk River somewhere. This reception was off the hook folks!
Ashley and Will, thank you! Thank you so much for having us be part of your big day. You guys were fun to work with and made our jobs quite easy! We had fun shooting your wedding and wish you both the very best in the years ahead. Thanks again and congrats!
