We set off our day with Lauren and the ladies at Lauren and Nick’s amazing home in Cropseyville (don’t worry Nick I took my shoes off) ! This place was a beautiful setting for the ladies to get ready. In the house was Lauren from Make Me Fabulous putting the finishing touches on the beautiful little Lauren. In the next room was Lauren’s wedding gown from Angela’s Bridal. No one but Lauren and her Mother knew what this gown looked like and we did a big reveal with Dad and the bridesmaids. I felt honored just to be in the same room photographing it 😉 After all that it was off to the Crooked Lake House for some wedding photos!!
The folks at the Crooked Lake House could not be more accommodating, we just love working there and are excited to have a few more there this season. Anyway when we arrived we all headed downstairs to the veranda for some bride and bridesmaids photos before the first look with Nick. Needless to say when it was first look time, Nick was all smiles and loved Lauren’s gown. We had the perfect amount of time to capture all of our images before it was time to tie the knot. We even went out onto the frozen lake! I heard some cracks which freaked me out a bit but we got the shots we needed to get without breaking the ice.
When it became time to party the ballroom was looking all types of good thanks to Anthology and some sweet up-lights by Music Man Mike Garrasi. After a killer toast by the best man (Lauren’s brother, Nick) including a shout out to “Elario” from him (thanks for the plug, dude!) these folks were ready to party and that they did. Mike Garrasi had the floor packed all night and just off the dance floor was the shiny new Elario Photo Booth (more on that below) which was used all night long! So fun! This was a great one to set off the season with!!
Lauren and Nick, thank you so much for having us. In Lauren’s initial inquiry to me she said “I have dreamt about my wedding since I was a little girl but actually thinking about it for about 4 years now. The only constant in all the details through my head was having you has a photographer!!!” When we hear things like this we cannot help but smile from ear to ear for months! We all enjoyed working with you guys so much and again cannot thank you enough for choosing us!! Congrats and I hope you’re both enjoying Hawaii!!
Where we left off with their engagement shoot in Maine!
Wedding day… I’m gonna say it now… and I’m sure I’m not alone on this.. If you can put your gown on a dress form it’s so much more fun to photograph for us photographers! Boom! I said it.. it’s in writing!
Loved her shoes..
Isn’t she adorable? Also were the PJ’s and cute socks.. Getting ready clothes are the new “name on the hanger” trends for weddings.. Can’t wait to see what 2014 brings!
A little touchup love from, Lauren to Lauren.. 😉

Who’d a thought the quiet Nick would dance his way into the room? Not even Lauren! That’s how you make an entrance!
Love this moment before Mom and Dad delivered their welcome..
