I love this one. It’s a special one too! Why? Well because Meghan and Curtis really wanted to do an engagement session with me but while planning a wedding budgets come into play and things get scratched. As we all know planning a wedding can get pricy and things do add up super quick. Anyway they have AWESOME friends. I got a call from Mike who is one of Curtis’ groomsmen. He said he and the whole bridal party wanted to chip in and hook Meghan and Curtis up with an engagement session. How freaking cool is that? I mean really, friends usually buy each other a drink or dinner but an engagement session is a whole new level. I think their bridal party could start a trend here! Anyway Meghan and I were chatting locations, trying to think of something a little different and BOOM! Meghan remembered her Aunt and Uncle have an incredible piece of property that was just begging for an engagement session to happen. On my way up the driveway I fell in love with the place and decided I’m moving in! Just kidding about the moving in part (sort of)! But in all seriousness I have to thank Aunt Sharon and Uncle Bill for having me. I was confident I’d give Meghan and Curtis great pics but your home pushed us over the top. The best thing is they’re photos are unique and the location is special to Meghan and Curtis. I had a blast and really look forward to getting together with Meghan, Curtis, their family and friends on April 13th 2012! So in this session I was not only working for the couple but their 12 friends! Thanks again to you all for making this happen. After all, the Beatles said it best “I get by with a little help from my friends.”
Peace,
JP
As always, we start things off easy here..
Pots!
I love this one.. It didn’t take Meghan long to channel her inner Tyra 😉
Talk about beautiful. I like the little head peeking in the top left.
Oh and the house had fields. You know I like them..
I know this one is similar but I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. The last image and this both show their good sides 😉
I like how the mountains and Curtis’ shirt compliment each other. (art by accident?)
Everyone should have a cabin in the woods. Meghan’s Aunt drove us over. It was across the street, it’s actually pretty far from their “house house” I thought we were never going to get there lol. What a little peaceful getaway.
Just all types of beautiful stuff in this session..
Cute little series.
Watch out now! A little color never hurt nobody! I love the pink dress, so fun.
The property is really a photographers dream, the light, the views and all the natural props!!
One of my favorites right here.
There is also a cute little bridge in the back..
but the light in the front is insane.
Look at em’ all working it.
The configuration…
The light is winding down..
That moment when the sun drops just below the horizon line is absolutely magical.
Work it girl. Do your thang!
My facebook teaser image.. Easily my #1 fav from the whole session.
As always, my token “bling shot”!
One last one!! haha gotta love it!

Congrats guys & thank you also for deciding on “Elario Photo,Inc. ” .
fantastic session, JP. and i love that their friends pitched in for this, how wonderful 🙂 congratulations on the engagement, Meghan and Curtis!! 🙂
I really like how casual this series feels…one of my favorites. I really like the story of the friends chipping in for them too. Great post!
Absolutely beautiful – looking forward to the wedding !! Love you guys!!
Meghan, you look awesome! Love the scenery…can’t wait for the wedding! We are going to have so much fun!
Awwww this is SO SO great. I cannot get over the property. So picture perfect.
First I have to say, while I really love seeing engagement photos for couples who will soon wed (whether it be days, weeks, or a few short months), I feel like it’s been a little bit since we’ve had a couple getting married next year! Yay! I look forward to those too 🙂
Meghan and Curtis – what a nice, sweet thing that your friends did. Bonus points to the friends, love it.
I seriously cannot get over this location. Meghan, your uncle and aunt may have to deal with some random photographer guy bringing his couples over there (just kidding!!!). But truly, what beauty. The fields, the house, cabin, water, bridge, dock. Wow. Just wow.
Love the choices of outfits – I have to say, when Meghan is wearing the pink dress and sitting in the fields, you see all those little pink flowers around her too??? Coincidence? 😉
I really can’t comment on too many specific pictures because honestly I’d have to say something about them all – all the natural props (pots, wagons, docks, stone steps), the fields, the light. Everything is SO so perfect. The textures just make this e-session even that much cooler. The bride and groom look awesome. But I do have to say, that golden warm light is gorgeous. I love those shots. Beautiful work.
And JP, are you making your cameo and the bling shot a signature? I kinda like it! 🙂 Again, for the weddings we gotta get big joe in on the action too 🙂
Awesomeness all around. Congrats guys! Can’t wait to see what early spring brings next year!
What amazing pictures! And an amazing property!
What a great couple ! The shots near the water are beautiful. They just look soooo happy. You sure did capture their feelings. Another great shoot .
LOVE that location !! It’s got everything you could want right there ! perfect.
Awesome!!! Thank you JP and thank you to our AMAZING friends for letting this happen and to Aunt Sharon and Unlce Bill! We had a blast and the pictures are beautiful 🙂 Can’t wait for the wedding!
FB teaser is my favorite too! Lovin’ her yellow flip flops too.
