Emily & Craig’s Franklin Plaza Wedding Photos
We set the day off at Mary and Michael’s (Emily’s Mom and her husband) lovely home in Albany. The house was full of food, drink and good energy. There was a small threat of rain however it never did make an appearance. On the team for this one included, Katie O’ Weddings and Events coordinators, Chelsea and Jill as well as the man, the myth, the legend, Al Woodard on videography. This wedding was very much a relaxed vibe as there was no wedding party other than Emily’s BFF, Thomas and Craig’s brother, Keith. Once Emily was dressed we did our first look and jumped right into photos.
Next stop was Troy for some more bride and groom photos. We shot in around Washington Park in Troy which was in peak spring colors. I swear all we did was laugh and have a blast as these two are just straight up fun! After our session in downtown Troy it was off to The Franklin Plaza Ballroom for a wedding and one amazing party. Personal highlights for me were the welcome speeches by Emily’s Mom and Craig’s Dad before the ceremony, that was something I’ve never seen before and I loved it. Like I said above, the reception was an fun party, Soho Band rocked the plaza and the photo booth never stopped (all the photo booth pics can be found here). What a fun night!
Craig and Em, thank you guys for trusting us to capture your big day. Working with you guys could not have been any easier for us. We all wish you the very best in all your years ahead. Keep smiling.
A pretty awesome gown just for Emily as Narciso Rodriguez is a personal friend of hers and was also in attendance at the wedding.
