This past weekend Elario Photography stepped out of the 5-1-8 to capture Jamie & Evan’s Sky Armory wedding photos! It legit was my first time ever in Syracuse. I was welcomed with a slamming dinner at the original Dinosaur Bar-B-Que which is where these two met and also hosted their rehearsal dinner. On wedding day there was a threat of rain, although it thankfully never made it through Armory Square and we had a really nice afternoon for pictures. Obviously Jamie and Evan made this day easy for us. I remember when I shot their engagement shoot it was the same way. Also shooting wedding photos at the Sky Armory was wonderful. This venue is fairly new and when Jamie and Evan locked it down I don’t even think construction was finished. But it was complete and looking amazing last weekend. Aside from its striking exterior shell I loved the exposed brick walls and steel beam ceilings, it’s an industrial vibe we’re missing here in the Capital District. We’re honored to be one of the first studios to have shot there! Also we’re beyond honored Jamie and Evan would import us into the city they fell in love in. I had a great weekend getting to know their family and friends and a freaking blast shooting them. Congrats to the bride and groom! Here’s to a lifetime of happiness!!!
