jivon & anthony: saratoga engagement session

I’m having so much fun with all these engagement sessions. I’ve had the coolest couples to photograph and Jivon and Anthony are no exception here. When chatting with Jivon about an engagement session I suggested we hit up Saratoga Race Course and some downtown action as well. Sure the tracks not open and is a complete mess right now but I had some awesome spots in mind that we could have fun with. I just love shooting at the track. I shot my first engagement session there back in 2003 I think. The old historic buildings are the best, so much character and charm. So take a place like this and throw in an attractive couple like Jivon and Anthony and BOOM!

Enjoy, leave love.

We started up in the clubhouse where the ballers can be found… this is a typical standing room only spot, people will stand in front of these white rails all day hoping to win. Anthony is a clear cut winner here.

Why five? Stay tuned for September 5th 2009.

Anyone who’s been to the track will agree that these guys picked the perfect threads…

I just couldn’t get enough of these seats!

Ok, one more… my favorite one from this series.

On the rail at the winners circle… classic b&w style.

A couple more.

Off to downtown for some casual shots.

Jivon has good taste in time pieces. Oh but that ring sparkles like crazy.

Some of that good light.

Did you seriously think I’d pass a red wall up? Almost “Elario red”

How does the good light get better? Probably my favorite from this series.

and finally the trademark “bling shot” . . . looking forward to September.
