There are so many things I love about this session! I’ll start with Lauren and John, they’re both such a cool couple and made my job a breeze last week. Secondly, we set off the shoot in Grand Central since this was where these two got engaged just a few weeks ago. John proposed to Lauren there on a Friday during rush hour. I had never shot in the iconic Grand Central so this was quite awesome for me. After that we headed to one of my favorite locations in all of NYC, the library and Bryant Park. The images of them in front of the ivy are one of the highlights for me. After that we headed back to the top of the rock. This place always serves as an incredible spot for shooting. Last but not least we stopped off on the corner 6th ave and 50th street and I captured one of my favorite NYC engagement session photos of all time.

Lauren and John, thank you both for having me come down to NYC for your engagement session!! Saying you made it very easy for me would be an understatement. I’m stoked to be shooting your October wedding next year and thank Lauren for keeping our Albany College of Pharmacy streak going strong! 😉 Until then…

Peace,
JP

Meet Lauren and John..
When you get images like this 3 minutes into an engagement session you know it’s going to be an easy one.. mind you in front of hundreds if not thousands of people..
This is the spot where John asked Lauren to marry him..
Lauren would often take this commute to meet her then boyfriend, John in NYC…
OOOOoooooooh!!!! Love the image on the left!! and track 104 a coincidence to their wedding date? I think not.
now we’re at the library..
How cute are these two???
I love the signs of fall in NYC..
classic..
I LOVE THE COLORS!!!!!!!!!
that blue dress in front of the green ivy is just amazing…. amazing!
🙂
Started from the bottom..
now we here..  (sorry I couldn’t resist)
Love these two..
Without a doubt this is my favorite shot from the “top of the rock” portion of the shoot..
The fact that we had this space without a hundred people surrounding us was awesome.. it sure gets crowded up there.
love.
another pairing of images I like..
This spot is a little trickier to shoot at as there were lots of people around..
see what I mean?
but the central park view is always more accessible..
Um hello gorgeous..
so pretty..
Working the configuration (which I almost forgot to shoot! ooooops!!)
and this one.. love it. frame it, hang it..
as always I ended with my token “bling shot”
the turnaround too!! see you two soon!
