My friends! As always I am excited to share my latest blog with you all but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m really, really, really excited to share this blog with you all! Disclaimer. I always write my image comments before I compose the blog writeup. I have to say, I ran out of adjectives to describe the beauty and amazement in this post. I might sound like a skipping record with the all “wows” and  times I wrote “amazing” below, so my bad. But you’ll see for yourselves when you start scrolling. To put it simply, Mallory and Murray’s wedding was beautiful.

I’ve been working with Mallory and Murray for over a year now. I remember when we first sat down and were talking about the wedding Murray was excited about this concept of having their wedding outside the Hall of Springs but still using the Hall of Springs. Why outside? Well because thats where SPAC is of course. Anyone who knows Murray knows this guys into music and loves attending concerts. I’ve run into him and Malory many DMB shows and our cousin Chic Corea’s show as well. Sitting there listening to what they envisioned for their day was exciting. But it came to life! It came to life thanks to their wedding and event planner, Mr Colin Cowie and Mazzone Catering. If you’re in the wedding or event industry you know Colin’s name. Colin and his team are responsible for some pretty legit events but the most recent was this past Saturday in Saratoga Springs, NY. Mallory’s mother, Maureen is also an event planner and was responsible for brining in her colleague, Colin. From there on The Baringers, Massry’s and Team Cowie began planning something special. As they say, the rest is history. Big Joe, Alison and myself could not have had a more fun time capturing and celebrating with the Baringer and Massry families. You all truly made us feel like family and to call this past Saturday “work” for us is absurd because no one should have this much fun while working. We can’t begin to thank everyone enough for having us and just want to congratulate Mallory and Murray. We wish nothing but the best for them. But seriously, can we do this again sometime? Pleasssseee?? Encore! Encore! Encore!

Peace,
JP

September 17, 2016…  We’ll set this off with this image of the 3 ladies of The Stylish Bride handling Mallory’s gown for us.

Try to find an image in this blog post where Mallory isn’t smiling, I dare ya. She never stopped smiling all day. 🙂

Great seeing make-up artist Shannon Saiid!

Stationery by  Baringer & Associates in collaboration with Amy Lalla Designs and Bella Figura & Couture, Unique, Timeless custom silk invitation boxes. Gorgeous.

Mazel, ladies..

What a unique and great surprise given to Mallory from her Mother Maureen.

Love me some getting ready shots in the Pavilion Grand.

Meanwhile in suite 408… Murray gave all his fella’s custom bow ties from Brackish Bow Ties.

Time for a first look!

I love everything about these images from the Avenue of The Pines..

Murray and his family are very into cars so we had to take a shot with Murray’s favorite vehicle…

Also.. the Aston Martin Vanquish made an appearance.. Not to rival Mallory’s beauty but this car is incredible. 😉

Love these simple portraits..

More on the details in a bit but we had to shoot in front of this amazing floral wall.

🙂

I really love this one.

Big shout out to Alice Corey who we had capture the cocktail, ceremony and reception details so we could focus on other elements of the day. We’re so happy with all these images! Thank you, Alice.

You’re seeing the sailcloth tent that was where the guests would arrive first preceding the ceremony. The escort cards were done by Calligraphy by Pya.

There truly is nothing like a sailcloth tent.

Meanwhile on the SPAC side we were working with bridal party.. The fellas..

We used the outside of the reception tent for some shots as it was stunning…

speaking of stunning.. 😉

I can’t.. this spot. Sooooooo beautiful.

In the entryway to the tent was this incredible round banquette overflowing with orchids… I loved this location.

clearly my favorite MM image from the day.

One more..

Mr Colin Cowie himself.

The inside of the Hall of Springs was where Mallory and Murray would tie the knot… this chuppah and ceremony in the round was perfection.

Wow.

Another favorite of my friends from The Stylish Bride getting Mallory all set for the ceremony…

On deck with Mom and Dad..

Here comes the groom.

and the bride..

This chuppah photographed amazing in black and white..

There were over 300 people in this room and the Rabbi commented on how intimate their ceremony felt under that chuppah. It very much photographed that way as well.

mazel tov!

After the ceremony guests exited the SPAC side of the Hall of Springs.. The next space awaited and it was unlike any space I have ever seen for a wedding.

Wow. Menu card by Calligraphy by Pya Seidner.

Absolutely amazing.

The large / high arrangements were mind blowing.

The lighting was perfection.

Mr & Mrs..

first dance..

This image (by Big Joe) captures the very essence of this tent and lighting.

The chandeliers! They looked as if they were floating over the dance floor.

Wonderful toasts and speeches by all.

Cheers!

One more formality.. 😉

Murray closed out the evening with two songs that he sat in with the band (The Chronicles, who rock by the way).. After last song the party was not over. Murray asked the guests to come to the after party…

At SPAC… the afterparty was on the stage at SPAC!! This was hands down the coolest thing I have ever witnesses at a wedding.

So who else would you have DJ your after party? DJ Truemaster of course. 🔥🔥🔥

Clearly this afterparty didn’t stop. It was just amazing watching everyone dance and party on a stage that so many legends have left their mark. Mallory and Murray, you guys put on the best concert at SPAC this season. 👏👏👏

I’ll end with this one. We cannot thank the Baringer and Massry enough for having us capture this very special day for them. Mazel tov!
