The last time I shot a wedding on my birthday was back in 2008 and that was fun. Cut to October 12th 2012, I would find myself with Nicole & Chris at the Hall of Springs. It was a colder day for sure but come on folks, its October. People get married in October because they want those colors, not because they want it to be a little chilly. In any event these two toughed it out for us on this one! I kept asking, Nicole, “are you ok? warm enough?”. They just wanted to keep shooting so we did! On this wedding we’d find ourselves with the Christine A Wheat Special Events FirmMake Me FabulousAl Woodard Films and Music Man Entertainment. I’d say they assembled quite an all star team of the areas best! We’re so glad to have been there as well. Nicole and Chris, can we just keep taking pics?? You’re totally fun and even though you both don’t know your left from your right you still killed it for us! 😉 Thank you SO MUCH for choosing team Elario for the big day’s coverage! Again, we were honored to hang with you. Thanks for celebrating my bday with me 😉

Last years winner of the favorite e shoot contest. Have a look a their engagement session.

  1. Awww hey guys!! These are so wonderful! I love me a fall wedding (man I’ve been waiting too long to say that). I especially love chilly, Hall of Springs fall weddings. Reminds me much of my own.
Love the veil! Complements the dress so nicely, and really has a vintage feel overall. Nicole, loving the bridesmaids in black, but also loving the hints of blue – your toenails (“something blue”), the uplighting, the ribbons, the cake. Very cute.

First look – great. Picture by the reflecting pool thingie – great!
Always a fan of revisiting the e-session areas too. Congratulations!!!

Oh ps – Alayne!!! Your new do? FABULOUS! (But really, when aren’t you fab?)

  2. Dear Nicole! I love you. There is not a sweeter almost PHD’er around. Although it is true you don’t know your right from your left, truth be told sometimes I don’t either, but that makes you all that much more lovable!! I think it is fair to say that the entire capital district wedding A team adores you and was honored to spend the day with you and your family! We truly hope you keep in touch and we wish you both all the fabulousness you deserve!!!

  3. I have been privileged to attend many of the weddings you have photographed. I am always in awe of how you truly capture the unique spirit at each event! From “Stalker” Mona (love you Mona! XOX) and Andrew’s wedding to Nic and Chris’s special day…the true sense of each couple shines through. You are truly gifted as a photographer and you have had some amazing subjects to work with!! LOVED seeing the newest addtion of an amazing event!

  4. Thank you so much for giving Chris and I such BEAUTIFUL pictures of such a WONDERFUL day!!! You guys truly are the BEST and most professional photographers I’ve ever seen!!! I’ll even forgive you for blogging my “ugly cry” during the ceremony!

Future Elario Brides: If JP asks if you want to keep taking pictures, say YES no matter how cold you are!!! You only get to do this once, make the most of it! If you’re at the Hall of Springs, Donna will take care of you and make sure that you warm up quickly when you get back inside : )

A big thank you to the all-star team of vendors mentioned above and to Lily Saratoga for my beautiful dress and veil. I <3 all of you and would recommend you to future brides in a heartbeat!

PS. Unfortunately, they don't teach you right vs. left in Ph.D. school, I might have to go back and review some Sesame Street You Tube videos for that one : P

  5. These photos are absolutely breath taking!!! Nicole and Chris make such a beautiful couple and I wish them a lifetime of love, health and happiness. Aunt Genie

  6. LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics…Not sure if I was more excited about the wedding or about meeting JP Elario in person…lol It was an amazing day for an amazing couple!
