It’s crazy to think I’ve been sharing images on the blog of these Staples kids (I can say that because I’m old now) since 2009. Who knew way back then the images we created would transpire into shooting two more weddings and gaining some great friends while doing so? To be honest, thats our goal. Capturing weddings for this family has been an amazing experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You just feel like family with these folks. To put it as “JP” as I can, I’d say I legit feel like I could walk into Linda and Steve’s house right now and make myself a sandwich. All I can say is thank you for making us feel that way.

Saturday October 15th 2016 was a perfect day. Perfect in every way. The fall color, the light, the beautiful subjects and the energy was all amazing. The flowers too, they were perfect. I should mention Becky worked with my wife and her amazing team at Fleurtacious Designs for a bit and helps out still from time to time. Anyway during Becky’s time at Fleurtacious we all became close. Needless to say the “fleurts” brought a little extra special  serving of their A-game for Becky and Carmine, I mean just look at those bouquets! 😍 After Becky was dressed and was officially a bride there was a great moment with her Dad, Steve and his girls. We then headed to the church to capture their ceremony. Father Doyle officiated, he’s truly one of the best and our favorite to work with. After the ceremony we ventured across the river to The Crooked Lake House where some beautiful fall scenes were waiting. Myself and videographer Al Woodard were going nuts over the light and color we had! Every wedding of course has its “glue” so  I’d be crazy if I didn’t mention wedding planner Katie O’, we’ve been right there next to each other for each of The Staples weddings so completing the Staples Trilogy together was nothing short of awesome. Obviously the staff and folks at The Crooked Lake House knocked this wedding out of the park because thats what they do and Grand Central Station band crushed it too. It’s just great having amazing wedding day teams like this!

Becky and Carmine.. What can I say? You guys are adorable and your wedding was so much fun. We all wish you a lifetime of health and happiness and to paraphrase the matron of honor Natalie, many short children. To Linda and Steve Staples, thank you. Thank you for being absolutely awesome from day one, thank you for making us feel like family and thank you for continuing to trust us to capture your kids weddings. It’s bittersweet but I think in about 3 years from now we should have a big party just because. We love you all. It’s been a honor documenting Natalie + Ryan’s, Erin + Tim’s and Becky + Carmine’s weddings! I’m on my way over for a sandwich. ✌🏻🍞
Peace,
JP
